I thought this piece of information will never exist online! Erm, I was wrong. You shouldn't challenge the internet. It works wonder. My sister has this book with her for years, The Secret Language of Birthdays. It states 366 types of personality based on 366 days. Count me as lucky.
My HTC took a dive into the toilet this morning @ 8.38AM.
Miraculously, it recovered at late 4PM later in the day. Awesome phone, I should say considering:

1. It was submerged in the toilet bowl

2.I washed my phone.

3. It slipped off the desk.

Imagine this happening to your phone.

However, my friends advised me to leave my phone in a bag of rice for a couple of days. The rice will absorb the moisture in the phone. I was in doubt because it was weird to do this. But after searching it online, there are believers. Nevertheless, my phone recovered so...I didn't get a chance to try this. Let's hope this won't happen again!

Snap snap snap*

Time for an update! I promised not to blogged anything about this until after 11th December. Yes, after our 1st month when things start to settle down. I'm not shy to say, this man-that-look-like-a-boy is my boyfriend, Jake Kao Caihui. I have never dare to say out loud the name of my loved one but now I do.

But can someone just give me a slap? I need to counter check whether I'm living in the reality or not. For me, I totally did not expect myself to fall for someone. (For those who heard about me, you-know-why.) The chemistry between us was special. Although people find us progressing way too fast than a normal couple, we felt it was right. Nothing was wrong. However, I strongly believe that establishing friendship and trust beneath this relationship will make it stronger.

This special man stepped into my dull life, making me learn how to balance it. Of course, I won't say I succeeded in doing that but I will not give up. It's gonna sound cheesy but I can't help it but to say:

I'm thankful of everything you have done.

Your presence has become significantly important in my life.

Please continue to be my pillar of strength.

I met people who often brag about the effort they put in to woo a girl/ making a girl feel loved. He doesn't. My definition of effort is the amount of time you put in and used to gauge how much you want that person in your life. Effort is not meant to play around with or complain about. I can't exactly remember what my supervisor said but this is more or less on what he had covered on our last day in BSC. It was an emotional day, knowing that we were all leaving B407. He shared many important values in life and gave us support when we needed. Compared to other teams, we are very fortunate to have him as our supervisor. Although I do not share much of my personal issues with him, he still acted like a fatherly figure and showered me with care and concern. Before we left, he said, "Joey, I will always give you that extra fish ball. Have more confidence in yourself." I secretly hid somewhere and cry out loud.

Before I started this stopover, I couldn't feel anything for anyone. This 9 weeks in BSC made me realized my emotions are still intact. Thank god for letting me learn here and I'll never regret meeting this team. Below is an article Mr Wong shared with us and I find it really meaningful.

BANGKOK - Thailand's worst floods in more than half a century have reached a "crisis level" and threaten to swamp the capital, Bangkok, as early as next week, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said.

"This will have a direct impact on Bangkok," Ms Yingluck said late on Friday in a nationally televised address. "We have to admit that this is more serious than in the past."

The death toll has risen to 253 people, with four missing and millions displaced since seasonal monsoon rains hit on July 25, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation said on its website yesterday. About 30 of Thailand's 77 provinces remain underwater, the disaster agency added.

Ms Yingluck said her two-month-old administration is struggling to respond to the crisis as the nation's largest dams approach their capacity and floodwaters threaten factories operated by Honda Motor and Sony.

"The government is just a little more than a month old and it is difficult to cope with this situation ... the volume of water is exceptionally high," Ms Yingluck said.

In a radio message yesterday, Ms Yingluck - who visited a pumping station on the outskirts of Bangkok - said the authorities are hoping to ease the crisis by installing up to 400 water pumps along the Chao Phraya River to help push water to the sea. Seven canals will also be dug on the outskirts of the city, she said.

Bangkok is prone to seasonal flooding as much of the city of more than 6 million people sits less than 2m above sea level. Ms Yingluck said flooding in the capital may be worse than in 1995, when a deluge caused almost 12 billion baht (S$503 million) of damage, according to government estimates.

Nationwide losses from this year's floods may reach 130 billion baht and reduce economic growth by as much as 1.3 percentage points, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce said. Bloomberg

16th September: Outing with Fabian

Met my "long-time-no-see" friend, Fabian. Well, we couldn't take photos because of his paranoid girlfriend. According to him, she stalks whoever is close with him. Since I've never disclose this blog to many people, I believe she will never read this blog post. Even if she does, I can only tell her, "Great job for stalking! I'll award you an "A" for your effort and insecurity. Please reflect on yourself first before crying out loud to your boyfriend. That is a pathetic act.".

It's not like I've never dated before, I understand there are times when insecurity kicks in but you need to stay cool! Of course, I did nag at Fabian for complaining about his girlfriend in front of me because I'm a girl too. (We get hurt when boyfriends do that. FYI, I got betrayed so I know this feeling.) She must understand the fact that his boyfriend and I have been friends for years! We know it is impossible between both of us! It's alright for you to control him in terms of not letting him hanging out with girls but...you refrained him from meeting guys too?! Jesus Christ. Reason: Afraid of him being a gay. This is truly..."amazing". I hate poking into people's business but whenever Fabian tells me how sad he is, I felt annoyed and irritated about his relationship with her. Thus, I'm blogging about this.

A relationship may have ups and downs but what matters most is how much effort one puts in to make it better. Nevertheless, I hope things change for the better and all the best for you guys.

After this sales, my friends and I went to Jurong Point for another atrium sales. It was much simple compared to harbourfront. As you can see, the clothes (@harbourfront) would be in a mess in 10 minutes even after I folded them nicely just a moment ago. Well, this is work so no complaining.

12th September: Mid-Autumn Festival @ Chinese Garden

Ok, I wouldn't say that day was bad but just not as great. First, I was unprepared. Second, the sickening weather. Third, xy's camera fell. Fourth, we looked too sticky and oily to take pictures. Many photos were taken but those posted here are "unedited-but-look-alright" ones. Haa! It's okay! Next year will be better!

Ever since Year 2 started, my poly clique hasn't been meeting much. (Different classes/ specializations) Although we don't hang out as often like others but friends are friends! We went to Crystal Jade on the 15th and I'll rate the service 7/10. Despite confirming my reservation over the phone call my name was left out from the list! Nevertheless, the food is great so I'll forgive that mistake made. I guess the next time when we hangout, more activities are needed to be planned! Hee~

I know it is ridiculous to blog at this time (4.30AM) but...I need to show you something cute! Perhaps you may have seen this ages ago but it seemed new to me!

HAHA! I customized by flash and hard drives icon! Cute MAX!
By the way, I bought a new purple sandisk flashdrive today! The reason may sound lame but I can't afford to lose any data due to the negligence of the school's printing shop staff(s). There are bugs in their computers and they felt that it's none of their business. I need to print my assignments terribly but my printer at home failed to operate properly. So, I will have one flashdrive for school printing and the other for academic purposes. ;)

I'm lacking of sleep recently due to my hectic school life. So it's normal for me to be awake at this hour. Especially this week. My friend and I were chosen for the finals in a marketing trade challenge. We will be representing our school for this competition this Saturday. Of course, there are mind freaks from other reputable schools. I'm terrified. To add on the load, I'm having submissions and tests all one go during the same week. Wish me luck..!
